The Benefits of CSR

CRBiz, Corporate Responsibility in Business, was born in 2006, as a print monthly magazine. It is the first publication of its kind which was devoted exclusively to promote responsible business in the country. The publication enjoyed a growing steady circulation among business houses and civil society organizations. The coverage was extensive bringing to its readers' news and views from the world of responsible business in India and abroad. Many international CSR experts contributed their writings which covered the emerging trends in the area of corporate social responsibility abroad. We have decided to revive the publication online We hope to provide our readers the coverage which marked our print publication. The Editor, Suresh Kr Pramar, has been a newsman since 1964 working with various publications in the country. For almost 25 years he covered the states of the North East. For two years he was the Editor of Kuensel, a publication of the Royal Government of Bhutan. He has contributed to several international publications like the Far Eastern Economic Review, Asiaweek, Asian Tribune, etc. For the past decade and more Suresh Kr Pramar is involved in social work promoting Corporate Social Responsibility and Social Entrepreneurship. He is the Managing Trustee of the Global Gandhian Trusteeship and Responsible Business Foundation.
